Mr. Bobby Brantley (Jr.) MBA,TEP

Bobby is presently the Chief Executive Officer of the Seychelles Securities Exchange (“Trop-X”).  In his 11 years in Seychelles, he has co-founded five different financial services companies (Sterling Trust and Fiduciary Limited, Trop-X (Seychelles) Limited, AfriClear Limited, AfriDep Limited and Solid Oak Insurance PCC) and remains on the boards of these companies which collectively hold eight different financial services licenses: trust/company/foundation services, fund administration, securities exchange, clearing agency, securities facility and insurance.  He has also advised several funds, insurance companies, securities dealers, investment advisors and others in terms of their set up in Seychelles.

Bobby has published articles in several leading industry publications and has appeared as a guest on networks such as CNBC Africa. He is a founding member and former Chairman of the Seychelles Chapter of STEP, a member of the International Tax Planners Association (ITPA), former Vice-Chairman of the Seychelles International Financial Services Association (SIFSA) and frequently participates on various committees and steering groups relating to the Seychelles financial services sector by invitation of public sector bodies or nomination of industry associations.

Bobby earned his Bsc in International Affairs w/ a concentration in Economics and Masters of Business Administration from Florida State University (USA).  Prior to moving to Seychelles in 2006, Bobby was most recently a registered lobbyist from 2000 to 2006 with the State of Florida and governmental consultant to a number of clients where he worked alongside his father, Bobby Brantley (Sr.) who is the former Lt. Governor of the State of Florida.

Michelle Lane Brantley TEP Michelle is a co-founder of Sterling where she started out as the Head of Client Services serving in this role for nearly 6 years where she was instrumental in delivering services to clients spanning over 80 countries. She holds a Bachelors of Science in International Affairs from the Florida State University. Michelle is a qualified TEP as designated by STEP International and sits on the Executive Committee of the Seychelles Chapter. Michelle is also an Associate Member of the UK Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments. Her areas of specialization include external company secretary services, cross-border investment structuring and estate/succession planning using private foundations, offshore trusts and life insurance policies. Michelle has been selected to serve on committees by her fellow peers in the Seychelles Association of Offshore Practitioners and Registered Agents (SAOPRA) as well as the Seychelles Financial Services Authority which is the non-banking financial services regulator.
